Installing the Free Version
From WordPress Dashboard (Recommended)
- Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New
- Search for "HashBar" in the search bar
- Click Install Now on the HashBar plugin
- Once installed, click Activate
After activation, you'll see a new HashBar menu item in your WordPress admin sidebar.
Manual Upload
- Download the
hashbar-wp-notification-bar.zipfile from WordPress.org - Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the downloaded ZIP file and click Install Now
- Click Activate
Installing the Pro Version
- Purchase HashBar Pro from the pricing page
- Download the Pro plugin ZIP file from your HasThemes account
- Go to WordPress Admin → Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Upload the Pro ZIP file and click Install Now
- Click Activate
Note: Free and Pro are separate plugins. Activating Pro automatically deactivates the Free version, so you don't need to activate it.
Activating Your Pro License
- After activating HashBar Pro, go to HashBar → License in your WordPress admin
- Enter your license key (found in your HasThemes account or purchase confirmation email)
- Click Activate License
- You'll see a confirmation message when your license is successfully activated
Your license key entitles you to automatic updates and priority support for the duration of your plan.

After installation, the HashBar dashboard shows you an overview of all your campaigns with quick access to:
- Announcement Bars — Create and manage notification bars
- Popup Campaigns — Build high-converting popup campaigns
- Analytics — Track performance across all campaigns
- Settings — Configure global plugin settings
